eQtickets is a privately run company, that is partly-owned by Sizwe IT Group.

Both companies are widely regarded for their professional conduct and sterling service within the events management, logistics and IT sectors and boast significant experience on major projects such as the 2010 FIFA World Cup, among others.

Daki Nkanyane
Managing Director: eQtickets (Pty) Ltd (B.Tech Quantity Surveying TUT)

Daki Nkanyane is the founder and Managing Director of eQtickets. He has over 15-years’ experience gained locally and internationally at Executive Management level with major players in the IECT industry ranging from Network operators to OEM's.

In 2005, recognising the massive gap in the market, he left Fujitsu-Siemens to pursue his vision of establishing a simpler, more accessible Wide Area Network based technology solution primarily to distribute tickets for events, travel and leisure markets bookings, and secondary to integrate with existing solutions in the market such as prepaid services, financial services, loyalty and membership schemes, as well as media through our online and print magazines.

Ben Kekana
Chairman : eQtickets

Ben originally started his career in the textile industry where he remained for a total of fifteen years. Then, after a brief sojourn in the advertising world, Ben made a successful transition to the IT sector where he became a partner in Comsel4.

In 2002, Ben was involved in the establishment of Sizwe, where he currently serves as Executive Chairman and in which he retains a minority shareholding. Ben is also a director of various local companies.

 

Hanno van Dyk
Chief Financial Office: eQtickets

Hanno studied as an accountant during the eighties through the University of Pretoria and UNISA. After completion of his articles at Kellerman, Nel & Bruni, he served as the accountant at a Civil Engineering concern for a few years. Hanno entered the IT sector as an entrepreneur to successfully run his own business for a period of six years.

In 2000, Hanno joined Comsel4 as a partner and in 2002 became involved in the establishment of Sizwe, where he currently serves as Financial Director and in which he retains a minority shareholding.
